MND Comments on the Draft of Japan's New Defense White Paper

  5月29日下午，國(guó)防部舉行例行記者會(huì)，國(guó)防部新聞發(fā)言人張曉剛大校答記者問(wèn)。

  記者：據(jù)報(bào)道，日本防衛(wèi)省2025年版《防衛(wèi)白皮書(shū)》草案內(nèi)容日前曝光。草案稱，中國(guó)急速加強(qiáng)核、導(dǎo)彈、海上及航空能力，解放軍在臺(tái)灣周邊的軍事活動(dòng)顯示中方正試圖提高實(shí)戰(zhàn)能力，中俄加強(qiáng)軍事合作，是日本安保方面的重大擔(dān)憂。請(qǐng)問(wèn)對(duì)此有何評(píng)論？

  Question: The draft of the Japanese defense ministry's Defense White Paper 2025 was revealed. The draft claims that China is ramping up its nuclear, missile, maritime and aviation capabilities; that PLA's activities near Taiwan demonstrate that Beijing is trying to improve its combat capabilities; and that strengthened China-Russia military cooperation is a serious concern for Japan's security. What's your comment on this?

  張曉剛：日方《防衛(wèi)白皮書(shū)》草案老調(diào)重彈，對(duì)中國(guó)軍力發(fā)展說(shuō)三道四，對(duì)中國(guó)正當(dāng)軍事活動(dòng)和對(duì)外軍事合作指手畫(huà)腳，我們對(duì)此堅(jiān)決反對(duì)。今年是中國(guó)人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)暨世界反法西斯戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)勝利80周年，在這一特殊歷史節(jié)點(diǎn)，日本更應(yīng)深刻反躬自省，而不是無(wú)端抹黑指責(zé)他人。我們敦促日方走和平發(fā)展道路，在軍事安全領(lǐng)域慎重行事，以實(shí)際行動(dòng)取信亞洲鄰國(guó)和國(guó)際社會(huì)。

  Zhang Xiaogang: In the draft of its Defense White Paper, the Japanese side repeats its irresponsible comments about China's military development, and points fingers at China's legitimate military activities and external military cooperation. We are strongly opposed to this. This year marks the 80th year of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. At this special historical juncture, it's even more important for Japan to reflect on its behaviors, instead of making unfounded smears and accusations against others. We urge the Japanese side to follow the path of peaceful development, act prudently in the domain of military and security, and earn the trust of its Asian neighbors and the rest of the international community with concrete actions.
